WORLD CLASS DATA CENTRE

FOR ULTRA RELIABILITY

Websites and email services are housed in one of the top data recovery data centres in North America. The Data Centre is located in a region with a very low incidence of natural disasters, making it an ideal location for mission critical needs. Powered by two stand-alone substations and connected to over 16 fiber-optic providers, the hosting network and servers are housed in one of the most redundant, connected and secure data centres in the world. The ideal location for the very best of class uptime and availablity for Canada Web Pro hosted customers.

Reliable Power

Designed for Uninterrupted Operations – Redundant and independent by design, the Data center is powered by two separate 400 MW substations. Each sub- station is powered by independent power plants while the Data center has a dedicated, end-to-end concrete reinforced underground electrical feed.

Cooling & Fire Protection

Resilience and Redundancy at All Levels – Built to withstand load-increases, the Data center utilizes a chilled water-cooling system that produces better performance while consuming significantly less energy than conventional air-cooled systems. Additionally, dry pre-action fire suppression system provides fire protection for mission-critical data, while simultaneously preventing accidental water damage.

Enterprise-grade 24×7 Network Monitoring

Services monitored include: Network Connectivity, Server Disk Space, Server CPU Usage, Server Memory Usage, Web Services – HTTP, HTTPS & FTP, Email Services – SMTP, POP & IMAP, Database Services – MySQL, MSSQL, DNS Services, All Log Files, and More.

Network

Maximum Uptime & Stability – The Data centers are strategically located in an area of dense fiber-optic connectivity that ensures the most efficient and reliable routing for network connectivity. The servers are connected via diverse fiber transport links that facilitate lower latency and higher network reliability.

Network Alert Notifications

Network Alerts - If any server or service fails, or any resource utilization exceeds specified limits, then a notification pops-up immediately on the screen of all the Infrastructure Monitoring Staff. The notification system also handles escalation of issues i.e. if the issue is not resolved within ‘x’ minutes, SMS alerts are sent out to higher level system administrators, and subsequently to Management. All of this allows detection and resolution to any issue within minutes of it happening and ensures maximum uptime for customers.

Generators

Power Backup Generators -

  • Multiple 2.5 MW Caterpillar diesel generators
  • Generators fully enclosed in individual ventilated, air-conditioned bays
  • 50,000 gallons of fuel on site
